Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Pain and or numbness/tingling in the wrist that comes on slowly over time. Traditionally this was thought to be only caused by an irritation to the median nerve at the wrist. This used to be treated with splints and surgery which often produced disappointing results.
Chiropractors understand that many of these symptoms can be caused by problems in the neck, shoulder and elbow as well as the wrist. So it is important to check for the root cause of your problem and not simply treat the symptom. Once the root cause has been found appropriate care should be effective fairly quickly.
